Lee Yeon-seo (Shin Hye-sun) is a supremely talented and successful ballerina with her family's Fantasia Ballet Company but suffers a devastating accident that leaves her blind.

Law of the Jungle (Korean: 정글의 법칙; Hanja: 정글의 法則; RR: Jeonggeul-eui Beopchik) is a South Korean reality-documentary show that airs on SBS. Each episode features celebrities sent to survive in remote locations around the world. The show was first aired on October 21, 2011. The show's 300th episode aired in 2018.

South Korean comedian Kim Byung-man created the Kim Byung-man's Law of the Jungle (Korean: 김병만의 정글의 법칙) in 2011. On the show, celebrities, including actors and K-pop artists, join him in remote locations around the world to experience living in the wild. In each location, the guests are tasked to hunt, prepare meals, and create shelter for the group. Kim is the show's only regular cast member.

Kim did not appear on the show's 2017 episodes in Fiji after he suffered a spinal fracture while skydiving in the United States. He returned to the show for the following season in the Cook Islands.

The show first aired on Fridays at 11:05 pm KST on broadcast network SBS. On May 6, 2012, the show moved to Sundays at 5:00 pm. The show returned to Fridays on November 16, 2012, airing at 10:00 pm. The show moved to Saturday at 9:00 pm and shrank to 60 minutes starting from February 16, 2019.

Legend of Ace Review

A man, who under the strangest circumstance, is forced to work for the rich Xiao household as a lowly servant. Using his cunning brain, he turns his terrible situation to his favor and helps his employer become the mover and shaker of the country. He, himself, earns the reputation of being the best of the best stewards.

The story follows 21st-century man Lin Wan Rong who is touring around Mount Tai when he accidentally falls into a dark space, transferring him to a parallel world, existing at the same time as the Song dynasty.

In this world, many historical facts are in contrary to what is written in historical books. For instance, Xiang Yu defeated Liu Ban at the Battle of Gaixia and never committed suicide, as a result. While he’s described as smart and generous, he also enjoys joking and playing around as much as the next person.

Using his economics wits, modern knowledge, and a whole layer of thick skin, he’s able to rise to become a lord of his own. However, with money and power, he inadvertently gets entangled in a power struggle between the royal members and somehow finds himself leading a troop to war.

King of Negotiation Review

The Negotiation is a 2018 South Korean action crime thriller film directed by Lee Jong-seok and starring Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin. The film was released on September 19, 2018.

Two English-speaking men kidnap a man and a woman and hold them hostage at a house in Yangjae-dong, Seoul.

Crisis negotiator Inspector Ha Chae-youn of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Department is brought in to handle the situation, despite strong protests from her superior, Captain Jung Jun-gu. While Chae-youn is negotiating with the kidnappers, Jung decides to send a police hit team to kill the men, leading to an altercation between Chae-youn and the kidnappers.

In retaliation, the kidnappers kill the couple in front of a horrified Chae-youn, before being killed themselves by Jung's team.

Ten days later, a devastated Chae-youn decides to resign from the police force, but Jung gives her time to reconsider, before leaving on a work trip. Chae-youn is then urgently called upon by her colleague - Superintendent Ahn Hyuk-su, who informs that she has been urgently summoned to deal with a hostage crisis.

Upon arrival to a secret location, she meets with the Commisioner of Police Moon Jong-hyuk and Presidential Secretary Gong. She is ordered to negotiate with the kidnapper - Min Tae-gu, a Korea-based international arms dealer and UK citizen, who had kidnapped several Korean nationals from Bangkok - including a reporter named Lee Su-mok.

While negotiating with Min video conferencing, she is shocked to discover that Jung has also been kidnapped by Min as well.

The Journey Across the Night Review

A young man goes to Hong Kong to study psychiatry for a pressing reason. His family has a genetic disease that caused his mother and brother to be diagnosed with schizophrenia at age 24 and he is desperate to escape the same fate.

The Legend of Xiao Chuo Review

The Legend of Xiao Chuo (Chinese: 燕云台; pinyin: Yan Yun Tai) is a 2020 Chinese television series based on the novel Yan Yun Tai by Jiang Shengnan. The series chronicles the life of legendary Empress Xiao Yanyan.

This is the story of Xiao Yanyan, also known as Xiao Chuo of the Liao Dynasty.

Xiao Yanyan (portrayed by Tiffany Tang) is the third daughter of prime minister Xiao Siwen and Princess Yan. She falls in love with the young lieutenant Han Derang (portrayed by Shawn Dou) and the couple eventually decide to marry each other.

However, their promise of love is severed when Xiao Siwen agrees to let Yelü Xian (portrayed by Jing Chao) take Yanyan as his empress after the latter succeeds the throne. Xiao Yanyan's relationship with sisters Xiao Hunian (portrayed by Charmaine Sheh) and Wuguli (portrayed by Lu Shan) also deteriorate due to the power struggle between the women's husbands, who each believe they have a legitimate claim to the throne.

When Yelu Xian was critically ill, he entrusted her the government and she eventually became the most important woman in the history of Liao. She broke political boundaries, pushed the public to implement the New Deal, completed the process of the Hanization of the Liao Kingdom from the original tribe to the feudal dynasty, promoted the integration of the Khitan and the Han people, and made the Liao Kingdom prosperous and continuous. Emotionally, she pursued bravely - disregarding the widow's voice and the world's material opinions.
